Hardscaping
Hardscaping refers to man-made features or structures that shape and define outdoor spaces. These elements may serve functional, aesthetic, or practical purposes, and are designed to complement a property's softscaping - otherwise known as landscaping.
Hardscaping projects include driveways, walkways and pathways, patios, and other outdoor entertaining spaces.
No matter how big or how small, all proposed changes or additions to a property - including your proposed hardscaping projects - must be developed with local requirements and engineering considerations in mind. For example, a new driveway must be located so that it does not impede roadway traffic, must meet local requirements for widths and slopes, and must be graded in such a way that prevents the build-up of water on the driveway while working within the constraints of your property.
Alta can provide any and all services related to the development of your proposed hardscaping project. We can research local restrictions and requirements; perform a site survey, as needed; prepare your site plan; and guide you through the permit application process.
Feel free to CONTACT US to discuss your Hardscaping project and engineering needs, and how Alta can help you make your plans a reality.
