Alta can provide design and engineering services for any indoor or outdoor recreational or athletic field, court, or facility. From outdoor residential tennis courts to indoor public/team training facilities, Alta can provide full-service design and engineering for your Recreational or Athletic Facility, including Civil Engineering & Land Development, Structural Design & Engineering, as needed, and guidance through the permit application process.
Alta was even fortunate enough to have provided the engineering services for these two award- winning residential tennis courts.
Steelyard Sports
In addition to the many residential recreational and athletic facility projects that Alta has engineered, we also provided full-service design and engineering for the renovation of an old steel-manufacturing warehouse into an indoor/outdoor sports training facility, now called Steelyard Sports, which includes indoor multi-purpose sports training fields and facilities, and a multi-purpose outdoor training pitch. Alta was involved in all aspects of this project, from conception through construction, including Land Survey & Engineering, Architectural Design & Engineering, Civil Engineering & Land Development, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering & Soil Testing, Stormwater Management Engineering, Structural Engineering, MEP & Fire Alarm Design, Permitting, and Construction Inspection. Renaissance Ice Center
The Renaissance Ice Center is a project that is currently in its conceptual design stage. The project proposes the construction of a 3-story recreational and athletic training facility including two indoor ice rinks, an indoor turf rink and an indoor turf training field, a yoga studio and gym, a party room, a pro shop, a café, and a restaurant, as well as assorted other retail and service spaces, with associated locker rooms, restrooms, parking facilities, etc.
The Renaissance Ice Center is proposed for construction at a currently vacant property in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, PA. The goal of the facility is to provide top-of-the-line training facilities for local sports teams, as well as a safe space for people of all ages to come and enjoy the various sporting, food, and recreational facilities.
Alta has thus far provided Land Survey & Engineering and preliminary Civil Engineering & Land Development services for this project. We will continue to be part of all phases of the project moving forward, including further Civil Engineering & Land Development services, Architectural Design, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering & Soil Testing, Stormwater Management Engineering, preparation of NPDES and other required Permits, and Construction Inspection & Testing services.
